Camille PICQUOT (1990, France) is a photographer and filmmaker based in Brussels. In her work, Picquot often plays with the viewer's perception through questioning accepted norms and expectations. Her work is as attractive as it is uncomfortable, and blurs the line between documentary and fiction. Her first film Hollow Hours (2016), won the Wild Card by VAF. In 2018, she published her book Domestic Flight, distributed by Art Paper Editions. Picquot's photographic work has been presented in solo exhibitions, among others, at FoMu Museum for photography in Antwerp, Hopstreet Gallery in Brussels and De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam. Cao Bang (2019), film festival premiere at IFFR 2022, was made especially for her exhibition at De Brakke Grond in 2019.
