Byamba Sakhya

Byamba SAKHYA (1962, Mongolia) graduated in 1996 as a cinematographer from the Russian Film Institute VGIK in Moscow. He was involved in several international film productions, such as State of Dogs (1998) and Khadak (2006). He also directed some documentaries on Mongolia. In 2009 he was awarded the Prince Claus Film Fund Award at CineMart at IFFR. Remote Control (2013) is his first feature film as a director.
