BALA is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and producer working in Tamil cinema. In 1999 he made his feature debut with Sethu.&nbsp; For his fourth feature film I Am God (2009), he received multiple National Film Awards, including the Best Director Award. In 2013, he made the period drama Vagabond. In 2018, his film Naachiyaar will be released.
