Apichatpong Weerasethekul (advisor)

Apichatpong WEERASETHAKUL (1970, Bangkok) grew up in Khon Kaen in northeastern Thailand. He studied architecture at the Khon Kaen University and film making at The School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. He is one of the few Thai film makers who works outside the strict Thai studio system. He has earned growing international recognition through both his films and art projects.
