Andrei Ujica
Andrei UJICA (1951, Romania) studied literature in Timisoara, Bucharest and Heidelberg. Publications at various intervals since 1968 include prose, poetry and essays. His films include Videograms of a Revolution (1992), co-directed with Harun Farocki, on the relationship between political power and the media in Europe at the end of the Cold War. His second film is Out of the Present (1995). The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu concludes his trilogy dedicated to the end of communism.
