Andrea Štaka

Andrea STAKA (1973, Lucerne, Switzerland) was born to parents from former Yugoslavia. Her work is strongly influenced by the conflict there. She graduated in film directing from the art academy in Zurich, specialising in film and video. She has made several short (experimental) films and two documentaries. With Das Fräulein she won the Golden Leopard at the 2006 Locarno Film Festival.
