Alberto Monteras II

At age six, Alberto (Treb) MONTERAS II (Philippines), was already into stop-motion animation. Initially, he worked in advertising after receiving a BFA in Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas College of Fine Arts and Design. Since 2004, Monteras II has directed TV shows, commercials, live concerts and over 300 music video’s. He pursued his passion for filmmaking, and studied at the Mowelfund Film Institute and at the International Institute for Film and the Arts. In 2016, he attended the American Society of Cinematographers' Masterclass in Los Angeles, California. His first feature film Respeto, received seven awards in the Cinemalaya Film Festival 2017 including Best Picture.
