Al Pacino

Al Pacino (1940, New York) left school at the age of seventeen and held down a lot of jobs while dreaming of a career as an actor. Having attended two drama schools (including Lee Strasberg's) he was given minor roles on Broadway. As a film actor he has received several Oscar nominations and he won an Academy Award for Scent of a Woman (1992).
