Abai Kulbai
Abai KULBAI enrolled in the course for film direction at the Zhurgenov Art Academy in Almaty in 1994. He has made several films from 2000 on. Strizh (2007) was awarded ex aequo the Grand Prix at the International Film Festival Eurasia in Kazakhstan. Kulbai was also awarded the NETPAC Jury Award there.
