Profile 

Mizunonaka is an independent film production company created to support new talents with strong personal visions. It specializes in European-Asian collaborations. It has produced short films in Japan and China, which have screened at international film festivals such as IFFR, Clermont-Ferrand, Encounters, Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal, Sapporo and  Palm Springs. Mizunonaka is currently developing feature and short film projects. 

Pedro started producing short films independently in Norway in 2011. In 2012 he registered as a producer to make the short film Eskiper in Spain. Since then, using the name Mizunonaka, he has produced three more short films directed by himself: Serori, Nothing Stranger and his most recent production, Ato San Nen, a Spanish-French co-production for which he obtained grants from ICAA, Comunidad de Madrid and Movistar+ (official selection for the César 2019 award for best short film and selected in the Shorts From Spain ICAA catalogue and Madrid en Corto catalogue from the Community of Madrid). His most recent production is the animated short film titled Muedra, written and directed by César Díaz Meléndez, which received a GOYA nomination in 2020. Since 2018 he is a member of the Oscars Academy (Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences). Nights Gone By is his first feature film as a producer.
