Fourth Wall Film and TV is a new Irish production company set up in October 2020 to produce film and TV for an international audience. Available for and seeking co-production partnerships, the company’s principal producer, Nuala Carr brings over 20 years experience crafting content from idea to the screen and collaborating with national and international production companies, broadcasters, financiers and funds like Section 481.
Working with new and established creative talent Fourth Wall's development slate, supported by Screen Ireland, includes feature drama What I Know About Men, from writer/director team Racheal Moriarty and Peter Murphy (Traders, Mo Ghra Buan - post production), feature comedy All Fall Down by writer Brian Lynch (All at Sea), feature documentary The Container, to be directed by Aoife Kelleher (One Million Dubliners) and a documentary crime series. Fourth Wall also has a number of crime documentaries in development with RTE.
Nuala Carr has been producing film and television for over 20 years.She was a director of Paradox Pictures producing dramas and documentaries including Goran Paskaljevic’s feature film How Harry Became a Tree, and award-winning shorts: Declan Reck’s Quando, Window and documentaries Guns and Chiffon, The Burning of Cork and Estella.She was a series producer with COCO TV Ireland and Blink Films UK. Her format idea Whose Holiday is it Anyway? won Best European TV Format at the Eurovision Creative Forum, Berlin.She produced Burnt by the Sun, (RTE 2020) a two part documentary series, directed by Garry Keane (Gaza). A graduate of the Film Business School, EAVE, and the Script and Story Analysis programme at UCLA, she has a bachelor’s degree in management from Trinity College Dublin , and an advanced diploma in marketing.
