Ngima Gelu Sherpa

Born in the Everest region of Nepal, Ngima Gelu Sherpa graduated with MA in fiction film direction at Kino Eyes: The European Movie Masters program (2018 – 2020) in Lisbon, Edinburgh, and Tallinn, for which he received a full Erasmus plus scholarship. He has worn multiple hats of director, writer, editor, cinematographer, and producer for his films. His debut documentary short film, Home, premiered at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen in 2021 and was awarded the Prize of Ecumenical Jury–Honourable Mention. His sophomore documentary short, Kathmandu Monsoon, premiered at DMZ Docs 2022, and it was also in competition at the 33rd New Orleans Film Festival.

Ama Dablam Pictures - Nepal

Ama Dablam Pictures is a Nepal-based film production company that was established in 2016 with an emphasis on developing and promoting the work of emerging filmmakers. The company focuses on both fiction and nonfiction film projects.
