Muhammad Zaidy
Muhammad Zaidy, who is commonly known as Eddy, started his career as a casting director and production assistant in the Indonesian film industry. In 2015, Eddy returned to Indonesia after completing his master in film producing in New York and became the co-producer of Mira Lesmana in the film Athirah, which won 6 Citra Awards. Together with Meiske Taurisia and Edwin, Eddy later founded Palari Films and produced several feature films, Posesif (2017), Aruna & Her Palate (2018), and Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens (2021). Eddy's latest film, Vengeance is Mine, All Other Pay Cash (2021) became the first Indonesian film which won the Golden Leopard award at the Locarno International Film Festival.

Award-winning Palari Films marks a breakthrough for Indonesian cinema by winning the top prize at Locarno Film Festival with Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash. The film took home the Golden Leopard, the main prize in the film festival at the international competition session. The film was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival 2021, Filmfest Hamburg 2021, Busan International Film Festival 2021, opened the Singapore International Film Festival 2021, and recently just won five Citra Awards in Indonesia including Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens, another recent film from Palari by Lucky Kuswandi was released as a Netflix Original. Since its initial release in June 2021, it has become the most-watched film on Netflix Indonesia and Malaysia. Palari Films strives to produce the unique and highest quality, accessible yet substantial films that appeal to the Indonesian and international markets.
