Mirna Everhard

Mirna Everhard (born in Amsterdam in 1988) is a producer and director based in Brussels, Belgium. She graduated in 2020 cum laude at the international master DocNomads in documentary directing. She has been working for the award-winning Flemish production company Serendipity Films since 2019, where she works on the creative development and financing of various long documentaries, short films and international co-productions. She participated at the VAF Summer School 2020, IDFAcademy 2021 and as a Development Angel at Less Is More in 2022.

Serendipity Films - Belgium

Serendipity Films is a Belgian production company, created by Ellen De Waele in 2006, focusing on (co-)producing international feature films and documentaries, often highlighting socially relevant issues. Serendipity Films supports emerging as well as established filmmakers with innovative and daring filmic approaches. Among others the projects Howling (Palm Springs Shorts winner best international short 2021), Retrospekt (TIFF, Berlinale 2019), Strike a Pose (Berlinale 2016, HotDocs), Death of a Shadow (Oscar nomination best short film 2013, European Film Award 2013). Serendipity Films is a member of The European Film Academy, EAVE and Flanders Doc.
