Marc Guanyabens
Marc Guanyabens, born in 1993, is a film producer. He studied audiovisual communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and, before finishing his degree, he founded Fractal 7 with two university colleagues. Among his most recent productions is the Strange (Oriol Guanyabens, 2020), a fiction short film which premiered at the SEMINCI in Valladolid and won important national awards. He has produced more than eight short films and is currently shooting the documentary feature Learning to Learn (Nina Solà) and developing the fiction series The Father's Name (David Moragas). He is an associate professor of Film Production at the Pompeu Fabra University.
Fractal 7 – Spain
Fractal 7 is an independent audiovisual production company based in Barcelona. It was created in the beginning of 2015 by three students from Pompeu Fabra University. Now we carry out our own documentary and fiction films with a special view in the international projects. We believe in cinema as a social impact tool.
