Maja Jacob
Maja was born in Warsaw, Poland. Her family fled the country due to growing concern of political upheaval during the early 1980s, and emigrated to South Africa, where Maja spent the next seven years of her life. During the 1980s, South Africa was shifting into a political revolution which prompted the family to once again move. Maja immigrated to Canada which she now calls home. She is a dual citizen of Poland and Canada. Maja has gained valuable hands-on experience by working on film sets and in post-production facilities. Her passion for filmmaking has shifted to directing and producing, breaking out with her first feature film In God I Trust which screened its World Premiere at the 2018 Whistler Film Festival.
