Lujain Bakhashwain

Lujain Bakshawin is a Saudi filmmaker, who holds a bachelor degree in cinematic arts from Effat University. Lujain has been exploring her potential in different departments such as producing, and directing since 2017. She wrote and directed her first short in 2019 Lebsna Allelah. She has been part of the production team as an associate producer of the Omnibus feature Anthology Becoming which premiered in Cairo IFF 43rd edition. Being the line producer of one of the most prominent feature films in Saudi Arabia in 2020 The Book of Sun. Moreover In 2022 she co-produced Quarer, collective feature film, which premiered in Red Sea IFF, and won awards in Aswan IFF and Saudi FF. Lujain is currently developing her second short as a director, and her first feature as a producer.

Lam Films is an independent production company established in 2019, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is committed to produce films between shorts and features with an unquenchable desire to tell remarkable stories, produce films full of passion for good storytelling, help the independent filmmakers to share their personal stories, and to create experiences that evokes emotions. Our vision is to execute projects with high production quality, support Saudi female filmmakers to spread their stories and vision.The company is working to produce its second short film and first feature film.
