Levin Hübner

Born in 1988 in Hamburg, Levin is an IFS Internationale Filmschule Köln graduate, where he originally studied film directing before co-founding his Cologne based production company Hübner/Wallenfels, and ultimately falling in love with film producing. His work has been featured at festivals like the Berlinale (2014, 2022) or Max-Ophüls-Preis (2014, 2017, 2019, 2023) and was realised with partners like ARTE, WDR, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW or Google. In 2022, Levin was approached by Wüste Film and is now managing their Cologne office Wüste Film West; adapting the bestselling novel Der Buchspazierer for the big screen will be their first project, cooperating with StudioCanal and ARD Degeto.
