Jana Lotze
Jana Lotze produces feature films and TV series for the national and international market. She is passionate about innovative storytelling from contemporary perspectives, female and diversity-driven content. Jana started out in the film industry at One Two Films in Berlin, where she produced the Israeli-German documentary co-production Out of Place. She was the production manager of Nora Fingscheidt’s international hit System Crasher and contributed to international co-productions such as Stambul Garden (by Ilker Catak) and Too Far Away (by Sarah Winkenstette). She earned her first credit as creative producer for the German-Cuban co-production Vamos a la Playa (by Bettina Blümner). Since 2022, she has represented Oma Inge Film in Leipzig/ Germany.
Oma Inge Film – Germany
Telling stories is a matter of heart for us and means being allowed to make a difference in people’s lives. Oma Inge Film was founded in 2015 by Frauke Kolbmüller in Hamburg, and expanded in September 2022 to Leipzig with Jana Lotze as producer. Oma Inge offers a home to regional and international filmmakers. A place where they can develop and live their signature. Together, we create the suitable format for their captivating and outstanding stories. Oma Inge, translated as “Grandma Inge”, stands for deep trust, individuality and familial solidarity. Besides German projects, we also work on international co-productions. We produce feature films and documentaries as well as series – arthouse and grand cinema. It's about being brave and overcoming boundaries.
