One morning in August 2012, Syrian photographer Issa Touma saw students dragging sandbags down his street. It proved to be the start of the Syrian revolt in Aleppo. He grabbed his camera and recorded the first nine days from his window. An exceptional angle on a war that has already lasted well over three years.
