IFFR student accreditation

Students studying film, media or other closely related subjects can find information here on obtaining a student accreditation for IFFR 2024, including the requirements. Professors or teaching staff should request an application form via email.

The submissions for student accreditations this year are closed

IFFR Student accreditation gives students a unique behind-the-scenes look at the largest film festival in the Netherlands. IFFR is an essential hub for discovering film talent, many world and international premieres, and a wealth of curated programmes including short films, features, documentaries and art installations. IFFR also actively supports filmmakers to realise their film projects through its Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) and CineMart.

Please read the requirements and guidelines below carefully before applying for accreditation.

An IFFR 2024 Student accreditation provides you:

  • Admission to public screenings (excluding special events like opening/closing/Volkskrantdag)
  • Admission to IFFR Talks
  • Admission to Art Directions: Immersive Media

Please note: events at IFFR have a limited capacity, so attendance to the above requires reserving your place. With your accreditation you can reserve up to a maximum of 15 tickets.

Applications received before 17 January cost €80 per student. After this date, accreditation costs €90 per student. Application requests are possible until 22 January. Accreditations are strictly personal and non-transferable.
