Ellen Havenith
Ellen is a creatively involved, passionate producer with a love for inspiring, challenging and heartfelt stories and filmmakers.
After her master’s in film studies, Ellen Havenith worked as a production manager/line producer for several Dutch production companies for over ten years. In 2012 she founded her own company, PRPL.
In the Netherlands she’s a mentor for talent development initiatives Generation Inclusion (= new filmmakers from diverse backgrounds) and New Producers Academy (= new producers from diverse backgrounds). Ellen is a Binger Film Lab, Erich Pommer Institute and IFFR Rotterdam Lab alumni. She also is a member of the European Film Academy, and part of the Cannes’ Producers on the Move, EAVE and ACE networks.
