Kevin B. Lee is a filmmaker and video essayist based in Germany. He has produced over 360 video essays exploring film and media. His video essay “Once Upon a Scree: Explosive Paradox: was voted best video essay of 2020 by Sight & Sound Magazine. He is Professor of Crossmedia Publishing at the Merz Akademie, where he is developing the first Masters program specializing in video essays, desktop documentaries and other emerging forms of critical media.
