Chiara Galloni
Chiara graduated in Communication Sciences and got a master’s degree with honors (2008) at the School of Economics of the University of Bologna, in Management and Innovation of Cultural and Artistic Organizations. In 2008 she founded Articolture, a cultural and film independent production company. She specializes in creative and impact-production and deals with the internationalization of Articolture’s projects. A member of the European Film Academy, she has produced 3 short films, 2 feature-length fiction, and 3 documentary films that have been presented, co-produced, and distributed internationally both in preeminent festivals (Locarno, Venice, IFFR, Istanbul, Moscow) and platforms (Amazon, Netflix Europe). At the same time, she teaches cultural project management, film production, marketing, and communication at Bologna University and professional training courses.
Articolture – Italy
Articolture is an Italian production company, dedicated to arthouse films (both fiction and doc). Since 2009, Articolture has been scouting local emerging talents without compromising on a European breadth and deals with burning topics to raise critical content, without ever losing sight of the aesthetic dimension. In the last three years, Articolture has broadened its international co-productions and has just won the Media Slate Fund 2022. The company aims to widen the arthouse audiences by implementing impact production and marketing strategies that involve (and create positive externalities for) the real communities its projects target, right from the development and production stages.
