Bramwel Iro

Bramwel Iro is a Pan African film producer, bringing African perspectives to global audiences. He is co-founder of LBx Africa, a Nairobi-based production company that produces high quality fiction and non-fiction content for the international market.

Spirited and determined, Bramwel's work is a reflection of the world he engages in, and he is drawn to stories that highlight social, environmental and political issues. Over the years, he has taken part in making inspiring, thought-provoking stories that have gained critical acclaim.

He was the service producer of the multi-award-winning and Oscar-nominated short film Watu Wote/All of Us (2017). He is executive producer on the feature documentaries No Simple Way Home (2022) and Softie (2020) with won the World Cinema Special Jury Award for editing at the Sundance Film Festival 2020. He is also producer on BABA (2022) and executive producer on Free Money (2022) which had their World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2022. He is a Produire au sud (2021) and Durban Filmmart (2021) alumnus.
