The Netherlands Film Fund, in collaboration with IFFR, offers 3 Dutch producers the opportunity to participate in Rotterdam Lab 2021, the IFFR Pro training programme. Due to the measures regarding Covid-19, the lab will take place virtually this year from January 25 to February 5, with the exception of the weekend.
The Rotterdam Lab, which started in 2001, is a training program for talented producers with international ambitions and is organized in close collaboration with CineMart, IFFR's international co-production market. Around 70 producers from all over the world gain access to a large international network of peers and experienced professionals through the activities of Rotterdam Lab. This year the group will gather online to gain experience and knowledge through networking sessions, panel discussions, workshops and round table sessions.
Who can apply?
Producers who have produced at least two shorts, but no more than two feature films, are welcome to apply. The workshop has a strong emphasis on fiction, but we are also open to producers who focus on hybrid forms of filmmaking. The focus of the workshop is on the development of your skills and network as a producer, and we would like to see your ambition to work and co-produce internationally reflected in your motivation.
