IFFR Unleashed: new titles in November

Every month, at least ten films are added to streaming platform IFFR Unleashed – from short to mid-length to feature-length films. This month, there’s 50!

Among the new additions is an interesting film by Kurosawa Kiyoshi: Tokyo Sonata. It’s not the daunting horror film some might expect, but rather a haunting family drama. Prefer to stay in Halloween vibes? Check out the rather bloody French thriller Laissez bronzer les cadavres by Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani or the rather hard-to-stomach Taxidermia by György Pálfi, about a taxidermist who wants to live eternally.

Another noteworthy (and less macabre) addition: Grigris, a 2013 film by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun (Une Saison en France) about a crippled young man from Burkina Faso who earns his living with spectacular dance performances in nightclubs

All films on the platform have screened at previous editions of IFFR. More than half of them have not seen a theatre release since. IFFR Unleashed offers the chance to watch them online from the comfort of your home!
