Stichting Droom en Daad (Dream and Deed Foundation) may be one of the youngest foundations in Rotterdam, but it has a major impact on the cultural landscape of the city, from music, theater and dance to film, literature and art. The foundation’s broad ambitions also reach outside, to public spaces, architecture and cultural heritage. Stichting Droom en Daad has supported IFFR with a generous donation since 2017.

"Stichting Droom en Daad drives dreams forward. Our scope is the city of Rotterdam and our aim is to make it even more inviting and beautiful. We invest in art for everyone: young and old, local and global. We invest in the art of everyone: from Pietje Bell to Erasmus."

The festival is extremely grateful for the involvement of Stichting Droom en Daad and is proud that IFFR is one of the first organisations to receive support after it was set up. Since 2020, Stichting Droom en Daad has been visible as the main partner of IFFR, enabling the festival to strengthen its international position as a leading film festival for independent film and put Rotterdam even more in the spotlight. Thanks to its structural support, IFFR can think outside the box and ensure that we celebrate the connection with Rotterdam and the power of film as much as possible.
