IFFR’s Inge de Leeuw honoured in Cannes

With great pride, we celebrate our programmer Inge de Leeuw after being awarded for Best Emerging Festival Programmer prize in Cannes. 

Together with Mads Mikkelsen of CPH:DOX, De Leeuw, curator of the themed programmes Rabbit Hole at IFFR 2019 and Maximum Overdrive at IFFR 2018, received the prize at the Cinando awards and Marché du Film’s festivals and sales agents mixer on 22 May.

De Leeuw and Mikkelsen were chosen from Screen’s Future Leaders list by a jury consisting of Lise Zipci (Les Films du Losange), Daniela Cölle (Pluto Film Distribution), Sofia Kurdoglu (Fandango), Niklas Teng (LevelK), Christina Liapi (Heretic Outreach) and Ya Li (Asian Shadows), and were presented with their awards by Jérôme Paillard, executive director of the Marché.
