Join us online from 26 January to 6 February! Our IFFR 2022 programme offers audiences across the Netherlands access to an exciting showcase of film titles⁠ from festival programmes Harbour, Limelight, Bright Future, Cinema Regained, RTM, Scopitone, and Focus: Amanda Kramer. IFFR Talks will be available free and worldwide.

IFFR 2022 online programme

As previously announced, IFFR 2022 is adapted and moved online in response to concerns about Covid-19 and the lockdown in the Netherlands. Our online programme offers audiences across the Netherlands access to an exciting showcase of films, from festival programmes Harbour, Limelight, Bright Future, Cinema Regained, RTM, Scopitone, and Focus: Amanda Kramer. IFFR Talks are also part of the programme, and are available for free and worldwide.

Opening Film: Please Baby Please

IFFR 2022’s online programme will open with the world premiere of Please Baby Please by American musician and filmmaker Amanda Kramer, who is also the featured filmmaker of this edition’s Focus programme. The film will be preceded by a short puppet animation by brothers Lewie and Noah Kloster: Stranger Than Rotterdam with Sara Driver. Join us for the timed screening at 20:00 (CET) on Wednesday, 26 January.

Watch on demand 

Enjoy the flexibility of on demand this edition and create your own festival schedule. Following our Opening Night screening on 26 January, on demand films will be ready to watch on IFFR.com from Thursday 27 January at 9:00, and available until Sunday 6 February at 21:00. There are a few exceptions, with a small number of films available for a shorter period – you can find information on each film’s availability on every film page before you purchase tickets.

IFFR Talks 

Our IFFR Talks programme will be available for free and worldwide. Five Big Talks will take place as timed screenings between 29 January to 5 February. You can join these talks live, or watch later on demand.

Regular and advance ticket sale

Ticket sales begin on Friday, 21 January at 20:00 (CET). Tiger Members can purchase tickets one day earlier, on Thursday, 20 January at 20:00. A ticket for an on demand screening costs €8,50, and discounts are available. IFFR Talks are free.

IFFR Programmabijlage

Looking for a printed programme? On January 20, the IFFR Programmabijlage will be published in de Volkskrant and in de Volkskrant app.

Press & Industry Selection

Note: Next to our online programme for audiences, our Press & Industry Selection 2022 will provide national and international press and industry guests with more extensive access to films on Festival Scope Pro. This includes titles selected for the Tiger Competition, Big Screen Competition and Ammodo Tiger Short Competition, and programmes Harbour, Bright Future, Limelight, Cinema Regained, Focus, and more. IFFR Pro industry events CineMart and Rotterdam Lab will also take place online starting from 24 January .
