Eurimages New Lab Awards

Eurimages is the cultural fund of the Council of Europe dedicated to supporting independent filmmaking. In 2023, they announced they would present two Eurimages New Lab Awards at IFFR, consisting of an Innovation Award for projects in development and an Outreach Award for work-in-progress projects. These awards replaced the Eurimages Co-production Development Award.

Two awards will be presented to CineMart projects at IFFR 2024:

  • an Innovation Award of €20,000 each for projects in development to promote experimentation;
  • an Outreach Award of €30,000 each for work-in-progress projects (in late production or post-production) to promote audience outreach.
