Attending IFFR 2020 with Cineville
IFFR and Cineville have been partners in crime for many years. For 2020, you can once again use your Cineville pass for a range of events during IFFR. Pass holders receive free admission to the complete Short Film programme, including the Ammodo Tiger Short Competition, and all Mid-length screenings. And, new this year, you will receive a discount for all feature films in the themed programme Synergetic.
Ammodo Tiger Short Competition
The power of short. Short films can be found at many places during IFFR: as part of video installations, preceding feature films at Pathé premieres and, naturally, in combined programmes. Films between 1 and 65 minutes long, from all over the world. There are fiction films, experimental work and documentaries. Short films prove that filmmakers play with a whole range of cinematic forms and ideas.
The mid-length film in the spotlight. Not short, not long, but just as long as it takes. Films that owing to their length (40-65 minutes) don’t fit into the regular programme slots, but really deserve to be seen.
New this year: receive a discount on all feature films within the theme programme Synergetic. This programme brings together work by film and art collectives that decentralise the mainstream narrative by providing us with alternative histories, presenting other ways of working and other ways of seeing. Get your ticket from an hour ahead of the screening at the box office and pay €9 (instead of €12).
You don’t need to order tickets online. Collect them by showing a valid Cineville pass, from an hour ahead of the screening, at the box office where the film will be screened.
