Tiger Competition 2020

At the heart of IFFR’s Bright Future section lies the Tiger Competition, the festival’s flagship platform for filmmakers who push the boundaries of cinema.

In 2020, ten films in world premiere vied for the Tiger Award and the Special Jury Award. A five-headed international jury picked The Cloud in Her Room by Zheng Lu Xinyuan and Beasts Clawing at Straws by Kim Yonghoon as the respective winners.
