Analisa Chapman

A lover of literature, law and the magic of movies, Analisa’s creative and professional journey has included work as a producer and production manager for music videos, talk-show radio, theatre and short films. She is also one of the founding directors of Have A Bawl Productions. No stranger to authorship, she has been an awardee for the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s screenwriting competition and is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts. Additionally, Analisa is an experienced intellectual property and entertainment attorney, and has been an entertainment reporter and junior public relations account executive. Analisa is an active member and the immediate past president of the Jamaica Film and Television Association and was a project team finalist for the 2021 SFFilm Rainin Grant as one of the producers for the feature film project Escape to Last Man Peak.

Have A Bawl Productions is an emerging female-helmed Jamaican film and animation production company focused on developing Jamaican content with global appeal for TV, cinema and online media. Its directors hold collective experience in creative writing, film production, animation and intellectual property management.

The company’s vision is to be a global cinematic force by developing unique, entertaining and innovative content with universal themes – powered by Caribbean storytelling that reflects the region's culture and people.

Its project slate includes feature-length, short films and episodic content in early development and encompasses genres from coming-of-age/adventure to drama and fantasy.
