Alysia Maciejowska

Glasgow-based producer, Alysia Maciejowska founded Moquette Films to tell exciting, untold stories and help facilitate more diversity on screen and behind the camera. Recent credits include the BFI NETWORK & Screen Scotland funded shorts Bahar (wri-dir. Maryam Hamidi); Bunny (wri-dir. Shaun Hughes); Do No Harm (wr. Rosy Barnes, dir. Douglas King); and The Barber (wri-dir. Dhivya Kate Chetty), co-financed by Film4. She formerly worked in Camera and has experience producing commercials at all budgets. She is an alumna of Film City Futures Producer Accelerator and FOCUS programmes, EIFF Talent Lab, BFI NETWORK @LFF and Stowe Story Labs. She was selected onto the 2022 EIFF Mentor Programme and BAFTA Connect and has previously presented projects at PFM, IFP Week and Cinemart.

Moquette films is the Glasgow-based independent production company founded by Alysia Maciejowska, with a mission to tell diverse and exciting stories from distinct, marginalised and unheard voices. Passionate about good drama, compelling and untold stories, Moquette Films aims to facilitate more diversity on screen and behind the camera, to inspire tolerance, understanding and partnership, and most of all to make damn good films. Working with established and emerging writers and directors from around the UK, they are concentrating on their growing slate of shorts, features and narrative TV series, and developing Moquette Films into a reputable, world-class content producer of quality, honest, human and impactful stories.
