Alice Lusher
Alice brings over 20 years industry experience to her role as Head of Drama at ie ie productions, where she has built an exciting and eclectic slate of distinct, authored features and television dramas. Inspired by creatives working across disciplines, she collaborates with writers and directors to tell stories from under-represented voices and find sustainable ways to realise their vision - whilst making commercially viable content for global audiences. She’s produced a range of acclaimed short films and her bilingual, multi-award nominated series Merched Parchus (Respectable Girls) has sold internationally. Alice recently co-produced Andrew Legge’s debut feature LOLA and exec’d short documentary Forest Coal Pit. She’s alumni of Filmonomics, BFI.Network@lff, BFI Insight, Rotterdam Producers Lab, LIM, Indie Lab and various UKGSF co-production events.

ie ie productions is an award winning, Welsh production company supported by the BFI Vision Award, UK GSF and Ffilm Cymru Wales. Founded in 2005 by producer Catryn Ramasut and musician Gruff Rhys to produce their critically acclaimed debut feature documentary ‘Separado!’. Alice Lusher joined the team on multi-platform production ‘American Interior’ and in 2015 launched the drama department. The company’s distinctive vision embraces the culture of Wales. Working collaboratively with both emerging and established talent to produce innovative, authored, culturally impactful films, cinematic documentaries and television dramas for the international market. Recent credits include: Irish co-pro LOLA (Bankside), Short film: Forest Coal Pit, Feature Docs: Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm & Queerama and English/Welsh bilingual drama series Merched Parchus (Respectable Girls).
