Nica, Arjun, Zoë and Théotime, the IFFR Young Selectors at IFFR 2021, present an evening-long programme on ‘feminine embodiment’. With a screening of Madalena, a panel discussion and an online event featuring DJs from Rotterdam.
In Madalena, Madiano Marcheti tracks the lives of three people who do not know one another, and are linked only through murdered trans woman Madalena. A gentle ode to all lives and bodies, which deserve to live alongside one another, as well as a call for empathy.
