A cheery garbage monster helps a boy and the townspeople explore the truth behind their oppressive, grey, isolated existence. This gentle, imaginative film from director Hirota Yusuke and Japanese anime Studio 4°C (Tekkonkinkreet, Children of the Sea) combines a pacy, eclectic and philosophical storyline with stunning animation.

The full closing event will comprise of physical screenings in Rotterdam, timed online screenings (which you experience together with other visitors at a specific moment), and a 72-hour on demand availability from 19:30 (CEST) on Sunday 6 June.
