Girls on Film Live!

In her fresh, cheerful podcast Girls on Film, British film critic Anna Smith (The Guardian, BBC News, Time Out London) offers a female perspective on the film world, both in front of and behind the camera. For the second consecutive year, Smith brings her show to Rotterdam for a live recording with lots of guests.

Smith will be sharing the stage with, among others, director Sarah Gavron and associate director Anu Henriques, who in Rocks paint an authentic and involving picture of teenage girls growing up. Alongside the discussions with filmmakers, critics Dana Linssen (NRC Handelsblad, de Filmkrant) and Lauren Murphy (Cineville) will examine what the festival has to offer. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for questions from the audience.
