Space Station: Rainbow Ihnfinity

Conceived during a time of violent protests in Kashmir, this installation dwells on Srinagar’s cultural history and media representations of the region.

Kashmir is India&rsquo;s northernmost state and, since 1947 (the year the subcontinent rid itself of British rule), the site of a separatist movement. In an installation that involves dual slide-projection, papier m&acirc;ch&eacute; tiles and wall drawings, Praneet Soi eschews media representations of Kashmir and opts for the generation of a personal narrative.
