Humphrey Spender was a painter, textile designer and photographer of British life in the 1930s for Mass Observation. Through the use of archival sound recordings of interviews, many narratives are hinted at about this famous inhabitant of an iconic modernist house, designed in 1968 by Richard and Su Rogers.
