When this painting was first displayed in 2014, all one could see was a blank canvas. By now it evokes an other-worldly landscape, a colourful garden of fungi. The longer the fungi grow, the more the picture evolves. Yet at each instant the painting is always complete. Each moment we live is just as absolute as the next.
