Fantasmas de la ruta

This is the first time Campusano leaves his comfort zone – the huge perimeter of the peripheral area of Buenos Aires, the symbolic space which he has filmed better than anyone else. Here, the logic of the tale takes him to other Argentinian provinces because Antonella, the young protagonist, has been kidnapped and forced into prostitution. Once again, the legendary Vikingo and a bunch of bikers will roll to her rescue together with Mauro, Antonella's young suitor, who respects Vikingo's codes but is also drawn to the lifestyle of drug dealers.

Campusano's narrative pulse works under all conditions. The 210 minutes of the film flow like water because the filmmaker fills his scenes with fascinating characters and the most diverse situations which outline a great crime plot in which even the police is involved. Also, we're able to catch a glimpse of some philosophies of life under duress.
