Coming-of-age drama set on La Gomera, where adulthood arrives with a bigger break than elsewhere. Young people leave this island paradise when they are 16 because there is no higher education. "It's about youth in Europe in 2017, but it's also time travel for those who aren't 15 anymore – eternity in a blink of an eye", says director Marvin Hesse about his intimate documentary.

Hesse studied under Wim Wenders in Hamburg. For his graduation film, he unconditionally embraced the surreal beauty of the volcanic island. He found the ideal teens, the right level of intimacy and doomed puppy love and managed to immerse himself and his camera in the group around the ideal protagonist: a charismatic little jerk who will lose his charm inside a couple of years, but tonight at the village party he still has it.
