Seven years after Dharma Guns and, as he puts it, after his umpteenth death, French punk filmmaker F.J. Ossang is back with a new mystery.
'Hit the ground running' Ossang probably thought, as the film starts with a man running from three men in a car near a deserted railway station. A dying man gives him a package, but he is caught and taken to a country house. As the nights go by, he becomes increasingly involved in a mystery surrounding a shady eminence grise called 9 Fingers and reminiscent of Dr Mabuse. After a failed attack, the group flee, ending up on board a freighter. Mix the bizarre plot with curious radioactive material, not one
but two femmes fatale and Ossang’s elegant black and white, and the
hallucination is ready to roll.
