Raymond

In Raymond, an intimate film about the relationship between the artist and her father, Yuen indirectly sketches a picture of her background, and the knowledge, spiritual and emotional baggage she has carried away from it. We hear how her father tries to understand the world by quantifying and categorising certain things, for instance calculating the calories that his farm produced. At the same time he talks about his ‘little fantasies’ and the origins of the world.
