Kopfkino features a discussion by eight women sitting at a long table in a theatrical space - a symposium, in the original Greek sense of the word, with a nice touch of the coffee morning, a nod in the general direction of Judy Chicago's Dinner Party (1979), strong allusions to the Last Supper and a hint of Buñuel's The Exterminating Angel (1962).
The women are in the BDSM business: five work as dominatrix, three as subs. They sit facing the camera, turning aside when speaking to one another. The camera remains in constant motion, slowly moving back and forth in front of the table at the same pace, the perspective changing randomly. Some might see this as a documentary and learn a lot about their fellow man which they didn't want to know. For others, it might play more like a Biblical tale of sin, grace and redemption. Screens together with Der Sechste Jahrenzeit and The Visit. See also Shaving the Baroness by this filmmaker
