Experimenting with visual language to adopt Das Kapital, Eisenstein understood the meaning of bourgeois life as the ‘transparence’ of material and social reality. Beloff attempts to realize a script Eisenstein never succeeded in filming. The result is a merry excursion through the brain of a visionary avant-garde artist.
