After a 22-year absence from the movie screens directing off-beat TV documentaries, award-winning audio plays and eccentric theatrical productions, Berlin Punk Surrealist Jörg Buttgereit (cf. Jesus - Der Film) is back where he belongs!
Egged on by Michal Kosakowski and friend Andreas Marschall (who created the poster design for his worldwide succès de scandale Nekromantik, 1987), 'Butti' agreed to do an episode for this portmanteau project with three stories straight (well...) from tabloid headlines. Part underground AV art, part genre-fest and subtle as a political head-butt, the three auteurs tackle domestic violence (Final Girl, Buttgereit), n(eo-N)azis (Make a Wish, Kosakowski) and hedonistic fat cats facing the limits of their self-absorbed will to forget (Alraune, Marschall). A rare example of true cinema: for once, entertainment and enlightenment become a popular unity.
