The master of vintage oddities evokes the story of an immigrant who gathers the power of the aurora borealis through a device called a 'Telemelodium'. 1939: the inventor Nihad Ademi harnesses the waves and uses the power to broadcast images of Canada to its own citizens from coast to coast. His unregulated imagery angers the government. Made as a commission for the National Film Board’s 70th anniversary.
